Adelaide includes lights in her miniature room designs to create atmosphere, highlight a particular feature of the room or object.   Her husband, Peter, designed the 1st transformer battery pack for her in Jan 2005 for The Blue Room.  Since then the design has been improved and various models are available to purchase.  Email Adelaide for information. 

The Light Pack TLP1 - Miniature Room Battery Pack

A simple compact solution to light a miniature room that can either operate on 8 x AA batteries or mains power (240volts) at a flick of a switch.  

Designed so that standard 12 volt off the shelf light fittings can be easily connected.   There are several designs to choose from differiented by the terminal connector where 12 volt light fitting wires are inserted at the top end.  The example below has screw in type terminal at the top so wires are less likely to come loose in this model.
